The Try Me

A service design proposed for a Politecnico di Milano project for Luxottica, Italy.

The Try Me is an in-store service proposed for Luxottica, the largest eyewear company from Italy. The Try Me is provided with augmented reality for customers. The customers will use the gadget that the store provided. The customers can use the application service and shoot themselves to the mirror/projector (already provided in the store). The mirror will detect them and show them the category of the glasses. After that, they can swipe the catalog based on the categories. The Try Me also provide a help button for staff advice.
Using this service, the customers can try the glasses by themselves without bothered by the staff. The in-store application gives a button for staff advice/suggestion if they need something more in detail that The Try Me couldn’t provide.
